Welcome to our brand new release Hed Kandi: Deep House. With this release Hed Kandi takes you on a deep, sexy and soulful journey, to a world where secret warehouse and loft parties hold sway as the exclusive hangout destinations for the coolest and most fashionable crowds.
With the recent re-emergence of a sound and musical movement that laid the foundations to House music almost a quarter of a century ago, Deep House is undoubtedly a hot topic on all partygoers lips of late and has found its way back to where it belongs, at the forefront of DJ sets across the globe. For fans that have followed Hed Kandi over the past decade this release is an evolution of our beloved Deeper theme.
Hed Kandi: Deep House, features two mixed CDs where Hed Kandi headline DJs, John Jones and DJ Eibhlin, lay down the mixes as they explore upfront sounds emerging from a modernization of old school Chicago House and a sound originally termed Detroit Techno. This journey starts at the deep depths of 105BPM on CD1 and the tempo rises all the way through to the clubbier grooves of 125BPM on CD2 as the main set kicks in!
