The incredible Dennis Ferrer follows up his summer smash "Hey Hey" with another sultry underground vocal this time with The Red Room. With his trademark percussive congas underlying a vocal led dark deep groove with winding arpeggio, Dennis delivers...... yet again.

John Jones Ft. Myss Word - Be Together "The Str8jackets Medicated Rub" (Hed Kandi)

I could be accused of a little bit of a shameless plug here, seeing as its my track, but....... this new remix from the Str8jackets has transformed it into a blissful beach-house style track that I’m absolutely over the moon with. The bass chords and arrangement that they have used adds a higher level of emotion to the track.

Brotherly - Breathe "Shur-I-Can Dub" (Dark Energy Records)

This is without doubt my personal track of the year and has been on constant play on my iPod. Shur-I-Can delivers a trademark deep and emotional mix which captivates your soul. This kind of production is pretty much why I love house music..... Raw, and simply incredible.

Jay Z - Big Pimpin (Roc-a-fella / Def Jam)

In 2001, I bought the Jay Z - MTV Unplugged album recorded in Times Square, New York and have only just recently transferred it onto my iPod. This is the standout track from this amazing performance, backed up by The Roots Band. The Guy is a genius and one of my musical heroes.... enough said.

Florence & The Machine - Girl with One Eye (Island)

This was the last album that I can say truly blew me away. Her vocal delivery is outstanding and every track on this album jumps out at you with pure explosion. This is my favourite track and the only cover version on the record. It will give you shivers as it kicks in after the break.
