It is just over ten years since Hed Kandi came to be in a small room at Jazz FM. Since then the brand has transformed into a global phenomenon, with just over 95 compilations to its name and an events contingency catering for over 1.5 million reveller every year!
Making it to the ten year mark is a massive achievement and we gave great pleasure in marking this milestone with one of our largest events ever hosted – The Hed Kandi 10th Anniversary Party at The Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam.
The famous concert hall will be transformed into spectacular club venue to mark this occasion with selection of your favourite Hed Kandi residents taking you on a musical retrospective through Hed Kandi’s history!
The Hed Kandi resident team will include Phil Faversham (UK), Andy Norman (UK), John Jones (UK), Dean Rigg (UK) and Steven Quarre (NL) alongside an impressive selection of live musicians including guitarist Eller van Buuren (brother of Armin van Buuren), vocalist I Fan, the incredible Ian C on percussion and the Lovely Laura on sax, who together will create a magnificent club meets live concert style performance. We also have the pleasure of being joined by exciting special guest Candy Dulfer, arguably one of the world’s most successful female sax players whose career has seen her play alongside Prince and Madonna!
The second arena will host The Senses Black Stage where pioneers of the Dutch club scene Roog, Hardwell, Brian S, Baggi Begovic and Marnix will present a themed set, exclusive for Hed Kandi’s birthday.
