Hed Kandi in Vegas

Having spent years traversing the globe in search of the world's best party hot spots, here at Hed Kandi we're thrilled to announce our latest residency.

Where there's a great party there's Hed Kandi, and this summer has seen us launch not one, but two sensational weekly parties in Sin City itself - Vegas, baby!

We caught up with our man on the ground in Las Vegas, Hed Kandi resident Mikey Gallagher, to find out how things have been going so far.

“We started doing a handful of pool parties last summer but this year we took those pool parties weekly to every Saturday,” says Mikey.

Already well established one of our best loved residents in the USA, Mikey recognises the unique position in which Hed Kandi finds itself in Sin City - where dance music, and house in particular, has never before been at the forefront of people’s minds.

“Las Vegas is the party town,” he told us. “It has always been the place where people from all across America travel to, to go crazy.

“Vegas, until recently, was dominated by hip-hop – now almost every club here plays electronic dance music.”

With this newfound love for house music, visitors to Vegas are embracing new parties and a club scene that's growing to be equally as prominent as that of its intercontinental cousin in Ibiza.

“Vegas is totally unique, like nowhere else I’ve been to,” Mikey says. “It’s a totally crazy fun place full of people that never want to stop partying. It is the true place of excess.”

And at both our pool party at Azure in the Palazzo Hotel as well as our night party at Gallery inside Planet Hollywood, we're giving you two incredible reasons to join in the Vegas party atmosphere.

“When you come to a Hed Kandi event in Vegas you are going to hear amazing tracks that you won’t hear at any other venue out here. You will be part of a party with no pretentiousness, just smiling happy faces listening to the best house music.”

Which really does sum up Hed Kandi perfectly. Our bags are packed, our iPods are loaded and we've got our suitably embarrassing passport in hand.

See you by the pool!
